Requirements:
• Identifying procurement needs and developing procurement strategies.
• Sourcing and evaluating suppliers to obtain the best quality products or services at the most favorable prices.
• Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers.
• Developing and implementing inventory management strategies and policies.
• Analyzing inventory levels and forecasting demand to optimize inventory levels.
• Monitoring inventory performance metrics, such as turnover rates, stock levels, and fill rates.
• Conducting regular inventory audits and reconciliations.
• Conducting periodic supplier evaluations and audits.
• Collaborating with suppliers to identify cost-saving opportunities or process improvements
• Managing supplier contracts, agreements, and negotiations.
• Collecting and analyzing data related to purchasing and inventory
• Generating reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as inventory turnover, stock accuracy, and cost savings.
• Identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Working closely with the sales team to understand demand forecasts and customer requirements.
• Coordinating with production and logistics to ensure smooth flow of goods and materials.
Key Skills »
Must Have:
• Must be well versed in MS-Office.
• Should be well equipped with software such as Tally, SAP etc.
• Proficient in MIS reporting.
